We are excited to announce that Compass Press has identified our first two books for publication. We anticipate bringing these wonderful books to life in late 2025 and spring/summer 2026.
We are opening up submissions for consideration of what will become our third title. Please note that while we work diligently, our review process can be long as it involves both student and faculty readers at the Community College of Baltimore County. We strive to work as quickly as we can, but response times can be up to eight months. We appreciate your understanding and patience. Please find the link to our website below:

Manuscript Formatting: Please submit the first 15 pages of your manuscript in double-spaced 12-point type, preferably Times New Roman, Arial, Helvetica, or a similar typeface. Margins should be one-inch. Pages should be sequentially numbered. The author's name, address, phone number, and email address should be on the first page. In addition to the manuscript, each submission must include a short synopsis of your work (no more than two pages).
Simultaneous Submissions: We do accept simultaneous submissions, but please notify us immediately if your work has been accepted elsewhere and is no longer up for consideration.
Response Time: Please note that submissions are reviewed by faculty and students at the Community College of Baltimore County, and as such the general reporting time can run from 3 to 8 months, though we know you are anxious for a response and will do our best to respond much sooner.
